WHY SOME SUCCESSFUL WOMEN STRUGGLE IN THEIR LOVE LIFE

The majority of my love coaching clients are single professional women who are Smart, strong, self-reliant, and successful in their lines of work. However, They struggle in their love lives.

At work, they are super confident in achieving their goals. Nevertheless, they struggle more to get commitment in their love lives.

They discover that things can go south and the relationship might end after a few weeks or months of dating. Or, worst still, guys frequently just show up hot and cold to them.

The following are the top 5 factors I’ve found that make it even more difficult for smart, successful women to attract long-lasting love:

  1. Trying to convince the man of your worth

Women’s desire to convince the guys they go on dates with is the root of the first issue.

Some high achieving women believe that love requires “hard effort” on their part.  Since they believe success comes from hard labor, they mistakenly think it’s the same when it comes to love.

You must get rid of this wrong mindset and the urge to “convince” men with your accomplishments in order for you to succeed in love as a woman.

It’s not attractive when women try to convince a man to be sure of them when it comes to love. They exhibit what I like to refer to as “pick me” behaviour, which is totally different from being confident as a Queen he cherishes.

Second, and perhaps more significantly, making an effort to “convince” is a masculine behavior in romantic relationships.

This brings us to our second factor why some successful women struggle in love.

  1. Using Masculine Behaviour in Love

Please understand that I adore masculine energy (also known as masculine behaviour). The secret to success in life and work is to have and apply it in the right amount; however, this is not the case for women to succeed in romantic relationships.

Polarity is necessary to generate attraction and love. In a relationship, one partner must be the primary bearer of the masculine energy, while the other bears the feminine energy.

In my role as a love coach, I work with high-achieving women who use a lot of their masculine energy to advance in their careers. This is great for work, but bad for their love lives.

However, we are still doing it when we go on dates because we are so accustomed to doing it daily in our professional lives.

We are not patient enough to wait until he reaches for the check; instead, we offer to pay for dates and open doors for ourselves. All of this is chasing, which is masculine behavior that will chase away men who are more in their healthy masculine (which is exactly what we want) and draw in men that are passive and feminine (which is what we don’t want).

Therefore, there is nothing fundamentally “wrong” with a romantic relationship in which the woman is more masculine.

Some women enjoy taking the lead at all times and playing a masculine role in their love lives.
